Webtoon Solo Leveling is on top with 2 million views in 24 hours
Following the resounding success of Solo Leveling, which garnered over 14 billion views worldwide, its sequel, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, has made a strong and well-deserved start.
Upon its official release on Kakaopage, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok achieved 2 million views within the first 24 hours, reaching approximately 2.8 million views after 30 hours. With a rating of 9.9/10, the series currently tops Kakao's real-time rankings, which are updated hourly based on user feedback.
Solo Leveling: Ragnarok has inherited the popularity of its predecessor. The release has met high expectations, reducing 13 chapters, including over 2,500 pages. The first three chapters, showcasing stunning artwork, contributed to Solo Leveling's worldwide popularity.
In an initial statement from the creative duo JIN and Dangdo of REDICE STUDIO, they stated, "Please look forward to the interesting growth story of characters including Sung Suho, as well as the increasingly exciting action scenes in each episode."
While there is currently no information regarding an English release, the immense demand has led to fan translations appearing online. This could inadvertently decrease viewership once an official English translation is released.
